Okami Statue

Been a while since my last update! I've been busy though, working on a second OKAMI sculpture, only this time more lifelike.

This statue is currently available to buy on Etsy here:

If anyone's interested in a layaway arragement, please let me know through Etsy Conversations, or on my email via my site: www.maliceinunderland.co.uk.

This "Okami" is a Japanese shinto sun goddess Amaterasu in wolf form, as depicted in the videogame "Okami". As the titular Okami deity, you spend the game bringing life to places that have withered, helping people, battling supernatural creatures, and defeating the eight-headed demon snake, Orochi. Much of the game's background and characters are modified from the original Japanese mythology. It's a neat game with humour and a lighter approach than most videogames to the supernatural, and has become something of a cult classic. Wii controller hurts my wrists after a while, though.

Thanks for reading!
